【Abstract】 It is indicated in this paper that the depth of sand filter washing drainage trough will be determined not only by the terminal water depth but also by the form of cross section and the longitudinal change of the water depth in the trough . The mathematical formula to determine the water depth at starting and terminal points of the trough for several cross sections in both horizontal and downstream slopes has been conducted on the basis of momentum law and it will be helpful to design the cross section of drainage trough rationally.更多还原
