【Abstract】 This paper sets up a model for calculating the strength of collision with a new method for the analysis of the resistance of hull structure to low energy collision impact. The upper and lower bound principles of the collapse theorems are used. A comparison with McDermotts method proves that the methodpresented in this paper is a rational method for the design of structure for reduction of collision damage.更多还原
