【Abstract】 The distribution and quantity of VIP-energic nerves in the atrioventricular node (AVN) region of the rat heart was investigated by immunohistochemistry, imagy analysis and radioimmunoassay. It was found that there were not only VIP-IR nerve fibers, but also neurons in the AVN region. The results suggest that endogenous VIP may play an important role in the regulation of heart function involved the atrioventricular conduction.更多还原
