【Abstract】 Based on the analysis of the multi-valued dependency relationship commonly found in the relational model,the two-valued transform,a method capable of transforming a multi-valued dependency relationship into a single-valued one,is proposed.With this method,itwill be easy to realize the simplification and mergence of multiple relationships,to improvethe normalization degree of the relational model and to reduce the tuple number occupied byeach entity in a relationship.The storage capacity required can be greatly reduced and the re-trieving efficiency can be obviously improved.更多还原
