【Abstract】 new approach to studying an intelligent manufacturing system is proposed. By ob-serving an actual manufacturing system,it is seen that the information flow and materialflow are realized by an information processing unit,a data processing unit and a knowledgeprocessing unit.The abstract model for a manufacturing system is obtained by abstraction ofthe data and knowledge. With this model,a software system called virtual manufacturingsystem is developed to simulate a manufacturing system, and the design of an intelligentmanufacturing system will be based on the virtual manufacturing system.更多还原
