【Abstract】 The man-machine conversation concerning geographic knowkdge is discussed and acomputer system for chinese sentence comprehension is developed.The functions and theworking process of the system are analyzed with examples,The storage format for the dic-tionary,knowledge base and working field are dealt with at length.Necessary informationconcerning any enquiry is stored in the computer. when a sentence in natural language is in-putted,grammatieal analysis will be performed by the computer,and after the sentence iscomprehended,the computer will look through the knowledge base.As soon as the requiredinformation is obtained, the computer will organize the answer sentence and send it out.Thesystem also provides the computer with a certain degree of intelligence and self-learning andinferring abilities.更多还原
