【Abstract】 Based on the soilists’ optimal scheme of improving the Baijiang soil, the ILG-40 type subsoil mixing plow was designed,and fabricated field tested. The machine can mix the eluviat and illuvial horizons of the Baijiang soil at the required ratio of 2∶1 and has the advantage of keeping the humus on the soil surface. With both active and passive elements, the machine requires about 45 KW total power. The machine’s productivity is about 0. 2 ~ 0. 3 ha/h. Considering the increase in yield, it is economical and feasible to use the machine to improve the productivity of Baijiang soil.更多还原
