溶胶固化法制备碳纤维-锂铝硅玻璃陶瓷复合材料

Preparation of Carbon-Fiber-Reinforced Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2 Glass-Ceramic Composites by the Sol-Gel Process

【摘要】 采用溶胶-凝胶工艺,在预处理的碳纤维表面涂覆了SiO_2与Li_2O-Al_2O_3-SiO_2膜。研究了纤维表面不同预处理及溶胶的性质对碳纤维润湿性的影响。借助扫描电镜观察了涂膜前后碳纤维的表面形貌,发现氧化物膜与碳纤维结合良好,膜厚约≤1μm。由溶胶-凝胶工艺制备的碳纤维-锂铝硅玻璃陶瓷复合材料,其三点抗弯强度与断裂韧性分别为646MPa与20.1Mpa·m ̄1/2。并对影响复合材料强度的界面因素进行了讨论。

【Abstract】 SiO2 and Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2(LAS)films were coated on pretreated carbon fiber(Cf)by the sol-gel process.The effects of different treatments of fiber surface and properties of coating solution on the wetting of solution with fiber were studied.The fiber surface coated with oxide film was detected by means of SEM. It is shown that the binding between the oxide film and carbon fiber is excellent.The thickness of coated films is about≤1μm. Cf/LAS composite was also prepared by the sol-gel process.The bending strength and fracture toughness are 646 MPa and 20.1 MPa·m ̄1/2 respectively. The interface problems affecting the mechanical properties of Cf/LAS composites were also discussed.
