【Abstract】 Based on a large number of experiments, some principles of spark conditioning were gained. After analysing the effects of discharges on electrode surface, the mechanism of spark conditioning as well as the factors affecting the performance was discussed. The degradation phenomenon observed in our experiments was proposed to be due to the lower operational dis-charge energy of impulse spark conditioning. The preferential procedures of spark conditioning were suggested in the paper.更多还原
