【Abstract】 There are a lot of active faults in Turkey. The activities of these faults are the main causes that strong and large earthquakes occur freqently in that country. So Turkey pors much attention to the investtwtion and researh on active faults and their relations with earthquaxes, and in recent mp several items of international cooperation in this field have also ben carried out and some progress has been made in the research.
