【Abstract】 In recent years. enterprises with foreign investment inHebei Province have helped the province to introduceforeign advanced technology, capital. equipment. and management experience aswell as speeded up technological renovationand product quality improvement. Theseenterprises have also played a positive role inexpending world marketing and industrialstructural adjustment. But many enterpriseswith foreign investment are not running verywell. or even at losses. According to thestatistics, about 51 % of foreign investedenterpriseS in Hebei are loosing, with thetotal amount of RMB 154. 89 million indefiCit.One of the main reasons lies in the fsctthat some areas are blind in setting up foreignjoint ventures by searchinS for big numberrather than feasibility. Another reason maybe trace to the low evaluation of the assetswho Chiners side puts into the joint ventureas the eauity share.
