新疆地区黄土中稀土元素地球化学特征

【摘要】 本文研究了新疆第四纪黄土中的稀土元素地球化学特征及其分布模式与降尘和风积沙的相互关系;探讨了新疆地区黄土的物质来源和形成条件。

【Abstract】 The total rare-earth elements (∑REE) values in the loess in Xinjiang region vary in a range of 128-200 ppm,with an average value of 153 ppm. The REE average content of loess lines beween those of the earth crust (155 ppm)and sedimentary rocks (151 ppm). The REE in Xinjiang loess with the REE distribution patterns of negative slopes is major rich in the Ce-family elements,and has a distributive character of the deposited rock types. The REE in North Xinjiang loess is poorer in the Tb element,richer in the Yb and Lu elements. Whereas the REE in south Xinjiang loess the Light REE (LREE) is relative rich. This proves that Xinjiang loess partly comes from the weathered materials (clayrock,sandstone) in the region. The REE distribution pattern in Xinjiang loess is similar tn that in the precipitated dust and the aeolian sand. That indicates they have the same material source. The REE distribution pattern of Xinjiang loess is also similar to those in the loess from middle reaches of Yellow River,China and Taskent,Uzbe kistan. It implies that loess of the three areas (Xinjiang, Middle Reaches of Yellow River and Taskent) comes of a large common material sourece area. But the REE patterns in Xinjiang loess are different from those of wall rock (volcanic eruptive rock, K-volcanic rock). As far as total goes, the ratios of LREE/HREE,Eu/Eu* and Ce/Ce* reflect the features of parent materials of loess and indicate that the parent rocks were possibly in the early stage of alkaline-weathering and the weathered materials existed in an oxidation environment with basic mediums in the arid-climatic condition before transportation,so the migration ability of the REE was weak.
