【Abstract】 Wanelet transform is developed rapidly in recent years. Some applications of the optical wavelet transform are summarized and the application in textured image segmentation is discussed in detail. A joint wavelet transform correlator was proposed for binary image feature extraction. Texture segmentation can be realized by optical multichanel Gabor transform.
