【Abstract】 The current field distributions of the ring-type HVDC ground electrodes (1-ring and 3-ring) are analysed in detail. The innuences of some factors, such as the buricd depth of the electrode, earth parameters, etc., on the currcnt fields are thoroughly discussed.
