【Abstract】 This paper discussed the principle for pure ramie single yarn sizing detailing the advanteges and drawbacks of PVA/CORN starch sizing agent. It emphatically introduces the whole process of DM818, DM82S/PVA blended size for pure ramie single yarn fabric. Through practical production the blended size shows a satisfied effect in viscosity, thermoability, and especially suitablity for size mixing for the pure ramie single yarn fabric.
