【Abstract】 This paper introduced the cantilever method for fabric stiffness testing, investigated the factors affecting ramie fabric stiffness and analysed the relationship between flexure rigidity of ramie fabric and textile material, yarn construction, fabric construction, dyeing and finsihine.
