【Abstract】 The experimental conditions are studied to determine nitrite by the 2. 5th order differential electroanalysis based on the formation of azo-compound with phenol in NH4Cl-NH4OH buffer solution. The quantitative method for the determination of trace nitrite in food is reported. The linear range is 1. 0×10-10-4. 8×10-7g/ml, 4000 times NO3- does not interfere with the determination of NO2- under the experimental conditions.
