【Abstract】 Based on the viewpoint of fracture mechanics, geoelectrical variation relating to the April 23, 1992 earthquake with M=6.9 occurred in the Border between China and Burma is analysed. The results show the sudden change and anomalous sudden change sequence in ground resistivity relating to the earthquake were observed at the stations in the vicinity of the epicentre before the earthquake. It makes the sudden-change sequence method of ground resistivity which was put forward in the national seminar on short-impending prediction be verified very well in practice and also comfirms the feasibility to put the method into practice of short-impending prediction.更多还原
