【Abstract】 This paper Dresents a study on the DC modulation control method in an AC/DC power system ac-cording to the decentralized optimal control theory. The effects of the controller designed on increasing thesystem damping as well as enhancing the power transfer capability of AC/DC system are srudied througheigenvalue analysis and simulation.
