【Abstract】 Since the reform and the open policy, the rapid development of Dongguan economy has promoted the educational development at tremendous speed, especially the adult education which has obtained an unprecedented historical development. In this paper, authors expound in detail the following characteristics of the development of Dongguan adult education: Centres on the economic construction and forms a nice circulation between the development of adult education and the development of economy; Considering the adults of the whole society as its objects and raising labourers’ quality and fostering adequate capable persons as its purposes, consists of the adult educational system which has multi -level, multi - specification, multi - channel and multi - formation of unifying city with countryside; According to the actual, practical, advanced and effective principle, carries out an education of different levels which combines the post technological training with the study of cultural and scientific knowledge; Adopts a method of sending students to study outside or fetching teachers to foster a large quantity of urgent talented persons; Strengthens the leadership and mobilizes extensively the whole society to participate in developing adult education.更多还原
