【Abstract】 n the basis of analyzing the property of water jet in the water cushion of scour pit,a newformula for estimation of scour depth is proposed by considering the concepts both of energy dissipationand of jet diffusion.This formula consists of more complete in fluence factors but is simple in form.The values of coefficient of scour invalved in the formula for various rocks are also proposed by theanalysis of many prototype data.The depth of scour pit downstream of the Three Gorges Dam isptedicted using the formula propored.The result is consistent with the experimental data by variousmodel tests.更多还原
