【Abstract】 Porosity and saturation are the two most important parameters in log interpretation.They provide scientific grounds for the evaluation of oil reserves and productivity. In western countries oil companies and logging service companies use different methods to determine porosity and saturation. The former lay emphasis on the practicality and accuracy of the parameters which can be used by customers, while the latter put stress on the sophistication and complexity of the technology used to determine the two parameters which can only be used as reference. The differences between the two methods are analysed in this paper.更多还原
