【Abstract】 The purpose of this study was to observe the effects of the YiQi Huoxue Fufang on rabbit with Liver fi-brosis in Schistosomiasis Japonica (S C)21 rabbits were divided at random into normal control group, model control group and Chinese materia medica group. Every rabbit in model control group and Chinese materia medica group was infected with 120 ±1 cercaries of schistosoma Japonica. For 70days, they were proved to be a typical liver fibrosis with the pathological methods . After crued with praziquantel(100mg/kg) ,each rabbit in Chinese materia medica had been treated every day with the oral liquid of YiQi FuZhen HuoXue JieDu FuFang (10ml/kg), for three months, at the same time, each rabbit in normol control group and model control group with the boiled water (10ml/kg) for three months. Such indexes as changes of liver pathology and hepatocyte ultrastructure area of collagenous fibres, contents of liver collagen activities of liver collagenase and serum N-acetyl-β-glu-cosaminidase (NAG) were observed. The experimental results indicate that YiQi FuZheng HuoXue JieDu FuFang has such functions as increasing the activities of liver collagenase, inhibiting the activities of serum NAG and the fat storing cell into fibroblast, improving the change of liver pathology and hepatocyte ultas-tructure etcs. These results suggest that it is a better efficienty to treat the liver fibrosis in SC Japonica with YiQi FuZheng HuoXue JieDu FuFang.更多还原
