【Abstract】 Five chemical composites were chosen to spray in the later growth stage on the two-line hybrid rice, Annong S- 1 x 312,under field management. The results showed that three of them significantly increased the content of chlorophyll and soluble protein while decreased the content of MDA and prolonged the effective life of leaf in both flag leaf and the leaf next to nag leaf,and it is also found that their effect on the leaf next to flag leaf was more significant than on the flag leaf. Application of these three chemical composites resulted in an increase of seed set from 7. 48% to 9. 24% and an increase of grain yield from 7. 1% to 12. 0%.
