【Abstract】 Ten cases of tumors in thalamus and basal gangliawere removed by stereotactic technique and CO:lasermachine After operation 5 patients improved fromtheir original condition and 4 were unchanged.Onlyone become worse temporally.The stereotactic frameand the method of the operation are described in de-tail.The preliminary experience demonstrates that thelocalization of deep-seated lesion were more accurate by CT guided stereotactic technique.It were very use-ful in operation near functional areas and importantvessels,for only a small cortical incision may exposingdeep seated lesion and removing the tumor with mini-mal damage to normal tissue.更多还原
