【Abstract】 Prof. Wu Wenjun is a world-famous mathematician whose main area has been topology and the use of computer to solve problems. He has published in succession many theses on Chinese mathematical history since the 1970s. This paper focuses on presenting his outstanding achieve- ments in researching and promoting the study of Chinese mathematical history, in carrying forward the fine tradition of ancient Chinese mathematics, in advancing the mechanizing features of ancient Chinese arithmetic, and in creating "Wu’s method" of using the computer to automatically prove programmed mathematical theorems.更多还原
