【Abstract】 Hydroxyproline(Hyp)and hydroxylysine(Hyl)in some animal glues, and the molar ratio Hyp/Hyl were determined. Both Hyp and Hyl, two constituents characteristic of collagen, amounted to a total of 10%(w/w)in the tested glues. The contents of Hyp and Hyl in the glue from donkey hide were higher than those from other animal materials; the molar ratios of Hyp/Hyl in the glues from donkey hide, bovine skin and antler of the red d deer (Cervus Elaphus)were 16, 17 and 20, respectively.The results could give some valuable information on the inner quality and clinical indications of animal medical glues.更多还原
