【Abstract】 Xiaoyan Oral Liquid is composed of more than ten kinds of Chinese medicines,such as; Rhizoma Coptidis, Radix Scutellariae and Cortex Phellodendri. The clinical application revealed its actions of clearing away heat and toxic materials, and anti-inflam-matory. The pharmacological experiment at present indecates that it possesses strong inhibition on acutetoe swelling of rats induced by carrageenin, liberation of white cells and chronic hyperplasia of granulation induced by peritonitis.
