全数字化HDTV传输系统图像信源编码的研究
A Research on Video Source Coding Scheme for All-Digital HDTV Transmission System
【摘要】 本文研究了一种全数字化HDTV传输系统图像信源编码方案。将运动补偿帧间预测,离散余弦变换编码和二维熵编码技术结合起来,通过对码率的自适应调节,实现HDTV图像信号的压缩编玛。在14.38Mb/s和20Mb/s码率,取得了良好的图像质量。应用数字调制技术,如16-QAM,能够实现在一个基带8MHz射频信道中传输全数字化HDTV。
【Abstract】 A video source coding scheme for all-digital HDTV transmission system is described in this paper, which is based on motion-compensated interframe prediction, DCT and two-dimensional entropy coding, applying adaptive rate control, implementing bit-rate reduction of HDTV video signals. Simulation experiments show that good decoded image quality can be acheived at bit-rate of 14.38 Mb/s and 20 Mb/s. By means of digital modulation technique such as 16-QAM, it is possible to transmit all-digital HDTV signals in a radio-frequency channel with base-band of 8 MHz.
