【Abstract】 When PS plastic is fired, it is usuall not burnt perfectly,and produces a lot of smoke. The 17 chemical components in the combustion smoke have been identified and determined by GC-MS and GC analyses,They are benzene,methylcyclohexane,toluene .3-hexene-2-one, 4-hydroxy-2-pentanone, ethylbenzene , isopropylbenzene,isopropylcyclohexane,diben/yl, fluo-rene, 1, 3-dipenyl-propane, styrenedimer, cliphenyl-acetylene, 2-pheny!naphthalene , 1-phenylindene , 1, 3-diphenylbutenyne and phenylethylbenzonitrile. The components identified and determined are 78. 02% (area) of the total eluted peaks. The total productive rate of the compounds is 43 mg/g plastic. The ESR spectra and I2 capture test give evidence of the radical reaction mechanism. The routes of decomposition of PS plastic are suggested.更多还原
