【Abstract】 Based on the analysis for a great deal of experimental data, an experimental model to calculate the peak widths at half height of a solute under random conditions in capillary gas chromatography was suggested. A series of solutes were used on two columns to examine the reliability. It has been shown that the maximum of the relative deviations between the calculated and the experimental peak widths at half height of the solutes tested were not beyond 22 %, and most of them were within 15%.更多还原
