【Abstract】 The study of the stability of city ground and the prevention and forecast of earhquake catastrophe is increasingly important with the rapid development of the modern city and high density population in the city. Hence the microzonation of urban areas is necessary. The shallow refraction seismic survey is an important and reliable method in the microzonation of urban areas. In this paper, we discuss the importance of the microzonation of urban areas of modern city, the role of the shallow refraction seimic survey in the implementation of microzonation, its principles and techniques, and give a few examples with regard to its applications.更多还原
