【Abstract】 Flame arresters can be equipped in the piping systems, which are used to transport combustible gas, and in the combustible gas tanks toprev ent any accident from being caused by flash back. This paper expounds the uses and classification of the flame arresters and their importance for safety. The mechanism, design principles and test methods of flame arresters are explained in details. We publish our research results for the first time. We have also consulted some relevant conclusions of academic circles both at home and abroad. In this Paper, the development and the prospects of application of flame arresters are analysed, and at the same time, the possibility and necessity for the flame arresters equipments in town gas piping systems are proved.更多还原
