Cardiac output (CO) and left ventricular ejection fraction(EF) were measured by ultrasonic method (M-mode-COm, EF, pulsed Doppler in the aortic valvular an-nulus and the main pulmonary artery-COa and COp) and thermodilution(COt) in 12 patients with congestive heart failure (CHF). The results showed that there was no significant correlation between COm and COt(r=- 0.0187, P>0.05).
