【Abstract】 This paper is concerned with the margarite which is the primary lime-micadiscovered for the first time in the Xinyang area, Henan Province, China. Themargarite, white-mica and staurolite are associated in the form of porphyro-clasts in blastomylonites. This suggests that the presence of margarite may berelated to the relic phases left over after the mylonitization of margarite-bearingstaurolite-mica schists. As deduced from the mineral assemblages, these margar-ites were formed during amphibolite-facies regional metamorphism at relativelydeep levels.更多还原
