【Abstract】 Described in this paper are variation characteristics of thermoluminescence of quartz crystals from different parts of gold orebodies in some gold deposits. The thermoluminescence curves of quartz may be used to distinguish different quartz formed at different mineralization stages and evaluate the gold-bearing potential of quartz veins. The thermoluminescence curves of quartz from aurifours quartz veins are bi- and multi-peak curves. However, the equivalent curves for unaurifours veins possess only one peak. The significance of quartz thermoluminescence in gold prospecting is also discussed in this paper.更多还原
