【Abstract】 On a conventional nursery bed, the seeds of Litsea cubeba are usually difficult to germinate hut are easy to turn rotten. This phenom-enum is caused mainly by the essential oils such as citral contained within the seeds. To solve this problem the author has conducted a seed germination test. The dormant state of the seed can be stopped and the seed germination can thus be started by timely modulating the seeds by means of having them treated with 3%H2O2 before stratification.更多还原
