【Abstract】 The photochemical reactions of sulfur dioxide with heptene-1 in the presence and absence of oxygen systems were studied. We observed the formation of smokefog and identified a series of its products such as alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, acids, esters, hydrocarbons and organic sulfur compounds by GC/MS.According to the characteristic of such compounds and chemical kinetic theories, the mechanism of these photochemical reactions were suggested.
