【Abstract】 The structure and function of spleen and kidney of Monopterus olbus were investigated histologically. The spleen of M. albus differentiatece into the structure of red pule, white pulp and germinal center simialar to that of mammalian; while kidney posseses the typical structure of mesonephros. There are not only lymphocyte, large and small, but also granulucytes in different developmental stages within the spleen and kidendy. But they are mainly formed by the hemopoietic organ. Spleen is also the phagocytic organ and blood-storage organ of M. albus.更多还原
