【Abstract】 A nondestructive testing system has been developed for wire break-off detection of ropes with fine wires of small diameter. The waveforms of the signals detected on six typical types of wire break-off have been investigated with the system developed. It can be easily seen from signal waveforms whether there exists a broken wire and ,by the difference in amplitude and rate of change of the signal,the type of break -off can also be determined.更多还原
