【Abstract】 In this article, we cite 8 cases of primary small cell carcinoma (SCC)of the esophagus diagnosed in our unit in the last seven years. Surgical intervention plus postoperative combination chemotherapy was applied to these 8 cases with an average survival time of 9 (range 1～20) months. In this paper we have also discussed the clinical characteristics, therapeutic intervention and prognosis of the SCC of the esophagus by reviewing the literature.更多还原
