【Abstract】 In this article starting from the viewpoint of series columns and parallel columns, according to the principle which they have the same lateral displacement stiffness, we have advanced the concept of the lateral displacement equivalent sectional area in masonry and given the calculating formulas of the equivalent sectional area, changed the calculation of the lateral displacement stiffness into the calculation of the equivalent sectional area.更多还原
