【Abstract】 Iron ore from M. J. mountain in Ningxia Autonomous Region, having low grade but high silicon contained, are not suited for blast furnace smelting directly. A test has been done on the small submerged arc furnace for ferrosilicon smelting by adding such a ore instead of steel chips which kre usually used in ferrosiliooa making. The results of the tests has shown good prospects.更多还原
