【Abstract】 This failure analysis was performed by using macro check, micrography and hardness measurement. It was shown that there were two kinds of surface damages on the working surface of the die,i.e. the fatigue cracking caused by thermal stress and the hole caused by metallurgical defect. Experimental results showed that the service life of die can be improved evidently by using high temperature quenching and stress relief annealing.更多还原
