【Abstract】 In this paper, equivalent circuit models of semiconductor laser diodes and photodetectors are developed respectively in general purpose circuit analysis program PSPICE. whose model parameters can be extracted from external performance of the devices. The characteristics of a practical microwave subcarrier multiplexed (SCM) lightwave system are analyzed by using the presented models.
