【Abstract】 A comparison of design proposals for the breakwater and cofferdam project in the Northern Harbour Basin in Xingang Port, Tianjin, was unfolded in 1992 when six designing companies stationed in Tianjin submitted 29 proposals, out of which 13 proposals for rubble mound breakwater, 12 proposals for mixed breakwater and 4 proposals for upright breakwater. Some of the proposals are summarily expounded and reviewed in the paper in the hope of promoting the technical development of breakwater works.更多还原
