【Abstract】 By finding and measuring the radio frequency noise the cathode zero-field thermionic emission currents of the low pressure gas discharge lamp, such as fluorescent lamp, compact and energy-saving lamp, UV sterilize lamp, are measured, and the relation between the cathode temperature and the zero-field thermionic emission is studied.
