【Abstract】 The paper gives an introduction about how to use the variation function ofgeostatistics to study the reservoir volume, the reservoir heterogeneity, well log-ging standardization and the like. By means of geological verification, the authorshave found that the methods involved in the study are feasible in the HuabeiOilfield.
