【Abstract】 This paper briefly described the trouble made by strain differentiation in the genet- ics and breeding of resistance to barley yrllow mosaic virus,reviewed the identification methods of different Ba YMVstrains and commented on their limitations in application,and discussed the rela- tionship among different BaYMV strains.
