【Abstract】 The western segment of Zhongwei-Tongxin fault zone is located in Zhongwei county, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Through themicrogeomorphologic survey of the fault scarps and the offset gulches, on the basis of trenching and chronologic determination of fault materials, a series of data concerning the active period, active pattern, vertical and horizontal displacement magnitude of the fault zone are obtained.
